By the by… Once I get the steampunk costume project going, I’ll be posting scores of progress photos on my knitting tumblr. Already have the pattern for the bolero/shrug, as well as an assortment to choose from for the leggings, spats will be stockinette to match bolero/shrug but with proper spatterdash shaping. If I have the time/option (to do other colour schemes), this cabled bolero would be awesome (the style of shrug in the first concept drawing).
OR INSTEAD OF STOCKINETTE I ACTUALLY DO DO A BASKET STITCH. The options are killing me.
